MARIMO-NETWORK ENGLISH INTRODUCTION AND DOWNLOADS 

The object of the MARIMO-NETWORK exists in the establishment of international amicable contacts between manufacturers, traders and researchers, who have dealings with organic food or natural products. The intention is to exchange information and experiences. By this way we want to promote organic agriculture and simplify to get general information and specific information about the market, production and labeling in China and Japan.

In Germany our present main activity is the establishment of a sales-network for handmade tea bowls and yuki-JAS certified tea, called MARIMO-TEAROOM. We sell both, tea bowls and green tea, to retailers in Europe (list of retailers).

On the other hand since 2006 Tobias Roesch and Dietmar Segl are doing research about the organic agriculture and market in Japan, and since 2007 about China. One important focus is the organic green tea production in China and Japan. The Summary of results based on interviews in Japan 2006, and a survey in 2007, together with an overview of Yuki-JAS certified foods in Japan, can be dowloaded here as PDF. An actual overview about organic foods in stores in Tokyo and the Kanto region will be prepared as PDF-Download until end of april 2008. Now we are planning to do a special survey about Chinese organic green tea and the organic food market in China in 2008. The results will be published in 2009.
